Charles Leclerc, the Ferrari Formula 1 driver, admitted that hand‑drawn pictures from young fans are the most touching gifts he has ever received.
Pages of Gratitude
During a social‑media interview posted by the Maranello outfit, Leclerc explained that while all fan presents hold sentimental value, drawings stand out for their uniqueness. “I think what probably makes me most emotional is whenever a kid draws and just gives me the drawing,” he told viewers, adding that seeing the effort a child puts into a sketch on race weekends is “very special.”
He keeps the artwork inside his home, a practice he said “touches” him deeply. “I always keep all those drawings at home, because, I don’t know, it touches me. I’ve also been a kid myself, obviously, and been dreaming of becoming a Formula 1 driver, so you also relate to what they feel and see,” Leclerc added.
Soon‑to‑Become a Father
Leclerc confirmed that his wife, Alexandra, is expecting their first child. In a recent fan Q&A, he said, “I’m going to become a dad and I’m very proud of that. So a new chapter awaits me, one which will bring only positivity. It will definitely be a bit challenging at first. But I can’t wait.”
Season Snapshot
At present, the 28‑year‑old sits fifth in the drivers’ standings with 179 points. He trails championship leader Kimi Antonelli by 123 points and is 20 points behind team‑mate Lewis Hamilton, who leads the third position.
