Fortnite has unleashed the infamous Freddy Krueger skin, letting gamers drag the “Nightmare on Elm Street” icon to the Battle Royale arena.
Purchase Process via Item Shop
Log into Fortnite and open the Item Shop. That leads you to the “A Nightmare on Elm Street” section. Inside, you can buy either the 2,300‑V‑bucks bundle or the skin alone for 1,600 V‑bucks. Simply tap the “Purchase” button, hold if prompted, and the transaction completes. The new cosmetics appear straight away in your locker.

The bundle includes every Nightmare‑themed item Epic Games rolled out for this event:
- Full bundle (all cosmetics) – 2,300 V‑bucks
- Krueger Skin + Glove Pickaxe – 1,500 V‑bucks
- Back Bling “Back Boiler” – 500 V‑bucks
- Glove Pickaxe – 800 V‑bucks
- Flames Wrap – 500 V‑bucks
- Coming Emote – 500 V‑bucks
- Kicks “Krueger Specials” – 800 V‑bucks

Event Duration and Alternatives
The skin debuted in patch 42.30 on 2 October 2026, the opening day of Fortnitemares 2026. All Nightmare‑themed cosmetics will leave the Item Shop on 16 October 2026 at 8 PM ET, closing the event loop. Until then, players can opt for the free Pixel Polli skin as a temporary alternative.
