The Mercedes F1 jacket is now available to fans, following the buzz created by George Russell and Kimi Antonelli wearing metallic silver jackets during the season’s hottest weekends.
Launch Details and Retail Release
Adidas Motorsport unveiled the product on Instagram on 30 September, captioning it “The jacket everyone has been waiting for.” The post amassed over 160,000 likes. Both brands now sell the item through their official stores.
Product Versions and Pricing
Two variants are offered:
- Unisex 2026 Jacket Silver – £220 in the UK, $300 in the US
- 2026 Pro Jacket Silver – £450 in the UK, $750 in the US
Design and Materials
The jackets feature an oversized cut with a stand‑up collar, zip front, and lined woven construction that leans toward high fashion rather than functional pit‑lane apparel. The shell is 100 % polyurethane, while the inner lining is 100 % recycled polyamide.
Heat‑Management Technology
Unlike the team‑only version, which contains cooling agents and built‑in fans for optimal temperature control, the retail edition omits these elements, reducing weight and complexity while maintaining a reflective finish reminiscent of the CLIMACOOL concept.
Availability and Demand
Sales are progressing rapidly; fans are advised to act quickly if they want to secure one of the limited jackets.
