Just a few weeks ago, numerous new positions at Sony Interactive Entertainment were filled, but this does not only refer to internal people, but experienced new people were also brought in from outside.
For example, the former Microsoft Executive, Veronica Rogers, was recently won over, who was previously responsible for the Redmond company as Vice President for Sales & Marketing and Device Partner Sales for 13 years. Before that, Rogers worked for Dell as a sales lead.
Within Sony Interactive Entertainment, Rogers will help drive business growth, lead strategic initiatives, and transform the culture of the SIE business from its previously regionalized structure to a single global system. This affects the sales business of the PlayStation brand both physically and digitally, as well as the monitoring of PlayStation subscription offers.
According to SIE President Jim Ryan, Rogers has a wealth of experience leading the global sales organization, managing strategic partnerships, developing innovative business models and building first-class teams. It therefore plays an “important role” in the growth of the PlayStation brand and will presumably also have a decisive influence on the launch of the PS5.
