Not only is the remake of ‘Final Fantasy VII’ undergoing a shift today, ‘Marvel’s Avengers’ will not be released in May as planned.

This has now been announced by developer Crystal Dynamics, although the shift here is far more serious. A statement explains:

“When we decided to share our vision for the Marvel Avengers, we were committed to delivering an original, historic campaign that has been collaborative for years and delivers compelling content.

To that end, we will use this extra development time to tune and polish the game to the high standards that our fans expect and deserve. ”

Marvel’s Avengers will be released on September 4th, 2020 for the current generation, while a PS5 release is expected at a later date.
