Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: this is Byleth, the new character from Fire Emblem

The director of the video game, Masahiro Sakurai, has officially announced that the new fighter is a character from Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Thirty-five minutes has lasted the Direct dedicated to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, a streaming event that has served to present the next character that will join the fighter squad. It is nothing more and nothing less than Byleth, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, the most recent title in the saga created by Intelligent Systems. As confirmed by Masahiro Sakurai, director of the game, we will have the opportunity to choose between the male and female version of the character.

The version included in the popular Nintendo fighting game goes beyond Byleth's swordsman skills, as he can use other weapons to defend himself. Among the weapons available, in addition to the sword, is the bow and ax, all of them ancient relics that will serve to make a difference on the battlefield. During the live show, Sakurai himself has taken the lead to show all the techniques, as well as the scenarios and other news about it. The developer has announced that they have made a selection of 11 musical themes, which will become part of the extensive soundtrack.
