Little Town Hero (Game Freak) is no longer exclusive to Switch: it will be released on PS4

Rainy Frog will be in charge of editing the game in its version for the Sony console. The title thus loses its exclusive condition on Switch.

Little Town Hero will arrive on PlayStation 4. The latest independent Game Freak proposal on the sidelines of Pokémon saw the light at the end of last year 2019 exclusively for Nintendo Switch. However, now Rainy Frog will be in charge of editing the title in digital format on April 23 in Japan. It will be on that same date when a physical version of the title is released in Japanese lands.

At least for now, there is no news about a possible location of the game in its version for PS4 in the West, as the Switch version was edited in the eShop by Nintendo.

Little Town Hero will have a physical format version on Nintendo Switch

The Game Freak title was news earlier this week for the confirmation that it was going to have a special edition in physical format by NIS America. The game will come out with box and cartridge, but it will also include a poster, color art book, a CD with music from the soundtrack as well as other additional details.

All information is available on the official website for North America; We do not know if any publisher will do the same with the game in Europe. The price will be, excluding taxes and shipping costs, of $ 49.99 on a departure date yet to be determined.

Game Freak is now in full development of the Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass, a paid DLC that will offer, upon payment of 29.99 euros, two new and independent chapters that will expand Galar's experience with new stories, content, Wild Areas and more than 200 Pokémon in total; to highlight, the presence of several dozens of known legendary Pokémon (and a few new ones), unpublished and mechanical Galar forms that were not present in the main adventure.
