Kingdom Hearts 3 adds new combos in its 1.07 update

Square Enix prepares a free update to welcome the first paid expansion, RE Mind.

A few days after the launch of Kingdom Hearts 3 RE Mind, the first paid expansion of the Square Enix video game, the Japanese company has confirmed that it will launch a free update for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It has already been confirmed that patch 1.07 will include some news regarding the base game. In addition to two new Keyblades, Oathkeeper and Oblivion, the team led by Tetsuya Nomura will add six new combos to the character's abilities.

Additional game modes

As for the expansion, it will not be limited to offering new stories within the Disney universe. Final Fantasy characters will return after their absence in the main delivery, but new features will also be implemented. First, the Data Greeting mode is a substitute for the photo mode in which we can choose a static scenario, which we will have the opportunity to decorate with the characters of the game. These prints will introduce different designs, which includes Sora's in previous installments. On the other hand, it will be possible to customize the angle, the pose, etc.

Second, the Slideshow mode will consist of a collection of slides with background music, which, as an album, will review specific moments of Sora's adventure and company. Finally, Premium Mode will give us the option to customize some battle variables. As we publish in FreeGameTips, it will affect the gameplay, since it allows you to adjust the experience points by eliminating bosses, as well as the points necessary to reach the ranks.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Re Mind will go on sale next January 23 for PlayStation 4. The Xbox One version will take a few more weeks on Xbox One, as it is scheduled for February 25. With this expansion, Square Enix continues with the main story, an argument that has developed throughout different deliveries spread across several platforms.
