So now! After it was last suspected that the remaster plans of the original Mortal Kombat games were discarded, the ‘Mortal Kombat Collection Online’ has now surprisingly passed the PEGI exam.

Although there is still no official confirmation of this, the description of PEGI does reveal a lot. In this it says:

“Mortal Kombat Collection Online is the original Mortal Kombat trilogy that Mortal Kombat fans have always wanted. Improved graphics, gameplay and online features offer an incredible experience that revives the “classics”. ”

The Mortal Kombat Collection Online is probably being developed by Blind Squirrel Games, who have already worked on BioShock, Mafia, Borderlands, Xcom and Evolve, i.e. primarily for games from 2K Games.

It is now only a matter of time before Warner Bros. will officially announce the Mortal Kombat Collection Online. Here are the leaked screenshots from 2019.
