TFT (TeamFight Tactics): 10.2 patch notes, all changes and news

The update makes the less used elements more attractive and improves attributes, champions and objects, among other changes.

New year, new updates. The premiere of the first patch took place days ago, but Riot Games continues to work on improving and adding new features to TFT, also known as TeamFight Tactics (or Master Tactics, in Spanish). As usual, the American company has posted on its website all the changes of the new update, version 10.2. According to the patch notes, attributes, champions and TFT objects are improved.

As if that were not enough, new weaknesses are added, although they focus, above all, on making the less used and less powerful elements more attractive. Riot has also refined some aspects, which will allow the games to be somewhat faster. At the same time, the randomness index of the objects is increased, with an eye on making the games fairer, without losing variety.

System

Duration of the games

  • Planning time for PVE rounds: 30 s ⇒ 20 s.
  • Object system
  • Common loot orbs: the possibility of obtaining 4 coins has been eliminated (average value reduced by 15%).
  • Rare loot orbs: the possibility of obtaining 7 coins has been eliminated (average value reduced by 3%).
  • The worst possibilities have been eliminated when obtaining objects throughout the game, especially in the first three rounds PVE. In summary, we have increased the randomness index.
  • Now many fewer complete objects appear.
  • Only complete objects appear if you already have object components. The "maximum" random rate has not changed, but it is more likely that complete objects appear the closer you are to that limit.
  • You can no longer get two complete items in the PVE rounds of the same game. This change does not include the rewards of epic monsters or the carousel.
  • We have drastically reduced the possibility of Force of Nature appearing on the carousel.

Quality improvements

  • Now the monsters of the PVE rounds are immune to Zephyr.
  • We have added a color layer to the attribute register to celebrate rare synergies (such as 9 infernal).
  • The visual effects of the runic Spirit mini-legend have been updated.
  • We have greatly improved the system to choose your mini-legend and the appearance of the sand in the room. What do you think!

Assassin

  • Critical impact damage bonus: 50% / 150% ⇒ 65% / 225%

Swordsman

Swordsmen can no longer store additional attacks above the maximum allowed by the attribute level (1/2/3). In short, it will be much less likely, if not impossible, for your champions to get infinite self-attacks. Specifically, this weakens the compositions with 4 and 6 swordsmen.

Probability that swordsmen get additional self-attacks: 40% ⇒ 35%.

Desert

  • Armor reduction: 50% / 90% ⇒ 40% / 100%

Infernal

  • Damage: 70% / 140% / 210% ⇒ 70% / 150% / 250%

Magician

  • (6) Wizards: 100% chance to cast their abilities twice ⇒ 100% chance to cast their abilities twice and 20 ability power to all wizards.

Shadow

  • Additional damage duration: 5 s ⇒ 6 s
  • Additional damage: 65% / 150% ⇒ 65% / 175%

Sentinel

  • Additional armor: 150% / 300% / 450% ⇒ 150% / 300% / 999%

Forest

  • If you have all six Forest champions, they will all be cloned.

Error correction

  • All descriptions should be updated.
  • The description of Electric now indicates that it deals magic damage.
  • Karma no longer measures 228 cm.
  • Now Kindred's ability will deal critical damage with the Jeweled Gauntlet.
