Horizon: Zero Dawn 2 – Job ads point to a multiplayer again

Guerilla Games is currently busy with their next project, which is expected to be ‘Horizon: Zero Dawn 2’ and will appear on PS5.

Current job ads from the developer currently provide information about the direction in which the still unknown project is headed, although a multiplayer is particularly noticeable this time. This is mentioned in an advertisement for a senior game programmer or at least as an experience among pluses.

“You have experience in areas like animation, physics, scripting, multiplayer and UI.”

The job description also shows that the project could actually be Horizon Zero Dawn 2. It speaks of:

"They will work with the animation, core and combat design teams to implement the system and gameplay capabilities of an epic open world game."

It may sound like a direct successor, but there are also reports that guerrilla games are working on a second project or may be returning to the Killzone franchise, which is said to be taking a completely new direction – towards Open World?

At the moment everything is possible, which is why you simply have to wait and see what comes out in the end.
