The Turing Test confirms its debut on Nintendo Switch next February

Square Enix confirms the arrival of The Turing Test to Nintendo Switch. The port will arrive on February 7 to the Nintendo eShop. New port for the hybrid.

Nintendo Switch adds a new game to its growing catalog. This time it is the turn of the Square Enix Collective program, independent projects of the Japanese company to which it shelters in a multitude of facets. The Turing Test will debut at the hybrid on February 7. Its price in the euro zone will be € 19.99; until February 21 will have a 10% discount on Nintendo eShop.

Bulkhead Interactive launched last 2016 a puzzle title that immediately reminded the two installments of the Portal franchise. As he says on his Steam page, The Turing Test is "a challenging first-person puzzle set in Europe, the moon of Jupiter. You play the role of Ava Turing, an ISA (International Space Agency) engineer who has been sent to investigate the reason for the disappearance of the personnel there destined ”.

One of its main assets is the game between perspectives, puzzles that find their solution from the way we contemplate them. Of course, the design would be nothing if the weapon carried by the protagonist, an “energy manipulation tool” that allows the transfer of energy between different machines.

At the moment we do not know if this transfer will have any extra added, or even if it will take advantage of the features of the console, such as the HD vibration, gyroscope and motion control of the Joy-Cons.

Alien Isolation, one of the latest ports for Nintendo Switch

The Turing Test follows the path of other titles of generation principles that have seen on the platform a way to give a second boost to their commercial life. The newly released Alien Isolation, a port that, in the words of Digital Foundry, "clearly gains the PS4 version" comes to mind.

In our Reviews we made it clear: “At a current time when we are flooded with ports and Remastereds, Alien Isolation could well have remained in a simple conversion to another system. But the Feral study demonstrates how things should be done and gives us a master port, almost the best that has been seen on Switch so far, with the best graphic finish of all versions and the inclusion of all its DLC. ” Almost nothing.
