Epic Games can confirm the start of Season 2 / Chapter 2 of 'Fortnite' today, which is therefore scheduled for mid-February.
With the release of update V.11.50, Fortnite will switch to the "Chaos" physics engine of the Unreal Engine. This new technology promises a lot of potential for Fortnite, but first you want to make sure that Fortnite continues to play like Fortnite. Therefore, you start testing in small groups of players, as problems may arise at the beginning of the implementation.
With the additional update V.11.50, Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 2 is expected to start on Thursday February 20th. What Chapter 2 – Season 2 has in store for you is not yet to be fully revealed.
Before the end of the current season, however, there are still new bonus challenges and a new two-week event, as far as one can already tell. More information will follow!
