The first part of Ark: Genesis will arrive in February

The first part of Ark's season pass: Genesis suffers another delay. It will arrive in Survival Evolved on February 25 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

The first part of Ark: Genesis, the new season pass planned for Ark: Survival Evolved, will arrive on February 25. This has been confirmed by the study in an open letter lamenting the delay it has suffered.

"We have no doubt that this additional delay will be a disappointment for all those who expect Genesis," they comment. The change in the calendar is due to the fact that the team is currently “polishing, balancing and putting the last pieces together”. Its internal quality standards are everything.

For the less common to the Wildcard game, Genesis is an extra season pass for the original title that takes players through two unpublished biomes so far. A new AI-controlled character will appear to accompany the user. Call HLN-A, it will offer missions, long-term goals and various objectives that will enrich the experience. The complete package will be received by almost all the platforms on which it is available: Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Nintendo Switch remains to the side.

Rocket League leaves Linux and macOS

Psyonix will cease Rocket League support in the Linux and macOS versions. In an open letter the study, acquired last year by Epic Games, confirms the launch of a patch next March that will eliminate the entire multiplayer component on these platforms.

“We want Rocket League to be the best possible experience for all players. This includes adapting the use of new technologies. Wanting to do so has made it much harder to support macOS and Linux (through SteamOS). Therefore, we will launch its final update for these versions at the beginning of March, ”says the team in the same statement.

This player base will only keep the local functions, such as matches with other users from the same computer, inventory, statistics, repetitions and all the content downloaded from the Steam Workshop prior to the update.
