Metro Exodus – Sam’s story expansion released in February

4A Games and Deep Silver have leaked the release date of the next Metro Exodus expansion, which they apparently didn't want to announce until January 30th.

At any rate, the official page read briefly that 'Sam’s Story' will be released on February 11, 2020. The date will probably be officially confirmed in a few days.

So far, the extension:

“Sam’s story takes place in a whole new sandbox level based on Vladivostok. Sam, a US soldier who stayed at the US Embassy in Moscow shortly before the bombs fell, has long dreamed of returning to his home country and meeting with his family, but has no information on where he remains. Could they survive? This idea seems almost incredible, especially in the dark tunnels of the metro. But when the Spartans found out that Moscow wasn't the only city to survive the war, hope no longer felt so foolish. "

From the Aurora you are looking for a way back to the USA. On your journey you will reach the remains of the tsunami-ravaged port of Vladivostok, cross destroyed industrial facilities and decaying residential areas. You have to find out for yourself that you need every single tactic learned at some point in order to survive your odyssey – but the dangers of the environment around you seem to be far more tricky than you would have ever imagined. You will experience a completely new journey through the wasteland of post-apocalyptic Russia.
