Sony is working on another Triple-A game for PlayStation VR

The really big blockbuster games for PlayStation VR can still be counted on one hand a good 3 years after the launch of the platform. Somehow the technology is not making progress, possibly because it has already reached its limits.

Sony is still sticking to PlayStation VR and is planning another Triple-A game, which is to be created in the rather smaller studio Manchester in Great Britain. The development for this has been going on for a few months, but now it has been mentioned for the first time that it is a Triple-A project.

In the most recent job advertisements, it is mentioned several times that you are targeting the Triple-A business and are currently looking for Senior Programmer, Gameplay Programmer, UI Artists, VFX Artists or Senior World Builder.

“We are a small, highly experienced team, passionate about creating the best AAA VR experiences.”

Which project should be created at PlayStation Manchester is still unclear. It is also not certain whether the game will still appear on the current PlayStation VR headset or the speculated successor.

So far, PlayStation Manchester has not developed and released its own game, but was probably the support studio for Blood & Truth.
