Stranded Deep from sinking back, release coming soon

Playfront

After the decline of Telltale Games in 2018, some projects were initially obsolete, which should appear under the in-house publishing label. This included the survival simulation ‘Stranded Deep’.

The game from developer Beam Team Games is back today with a trailer, which also promises an early release. In any case, it speaks of “soon”, which obviously has set the course for the release.

In Stranded Deep, you take on the role of a survivor who stranded somewhere in the Pacific Ocean and on a “lonely” island after an airplane disaster. From now on you have to face terrifying dangers above and below an endless environment. You can expect some of the most life-threatening scenarios, which also always lead to another experience.

The specialty of Stranded Deep lies in the procedurally generated worlds that will never be the same. So you can generate completely new worlds, create your own maps, create individual experiences and much more that can then be shared with other players.

Other highlights include a dynamic day and night change, a physics-based crafting and building system, detailed survival aspects, random loot and collectibles or things that are essential for survival such as fishing. In addition, long-term support is envisaged, which includes more features such as a KoOp mode, more wilderness or endgame scenarios.
