“What is Dreams?”, MediaMolecule summarizes the game in 2 minutes (in Spanish)

The British studio reviews with its main developers all aspects that make this exclusive PlayStation 4 video game a unique title.

Dreams is about to reach the market. The expected new bet of MediaMolecule will arrive exclusively for PlayStation 4 next February with the main novelty of including, in addition to more creation tools for the community, a complete Story Mode with which to live an adventure alone.

There are many doubts around Dreams and a few also unanswered questions. That is why the British team has granted a video interview that summarizes, in just two minutes, what is Dreams beyond a creative video game and a tremendously abstract and particular platform adventure.

“Surfing in the dream is the part of the game in Dreams. We loved the idea that people could upload Dreams, click and start their journey through all the ideas of the PlayStation 4 creative community, ”said Shiobhan Reddy, director of MediaMolecule, to whom we dedicated an article about his career. “It's very relaxing, you don't need a creative effort ;; but then you have an idea and you think: ‘the same could change one thing or another’, ”says David Smith, technical director.

February 14 in stores: Story Mode arrives

On January 7 we learned that the game was completely over, its development had reached the gold phase. The title has not had an easy journey. LittleBigPlanet's parents began working on the work back in 2012, in parallel with Tearaway; although it was not until the PlayStation Meeting of 2013 when they presented their first technical demo and at E3 2015 through their formal show to the public.

Dreams will be released in physical and digital format exclusively for PlayStation 4 on February 14, Valentine's Day, and thus a long period of one year in early access can be terminated. Throughout these months, the community has created all kinds of experiences; from television series to remakes of existing video games. Even reimagining others that are coming.
