A Fisherman's Tale, Innerspace's nested VR puzzle adventure and Vertigo Games won yesterday's VR Game of the Year award at the VR Awards in London.

The winners were announced yesterday during the third international VR Awards in London. The annual event honors special achievements in the field of virtual reality. More than 300 VR industry representatives were on hand to celebrate the most influential developers of this immersive technology.

"VR Game of the Year" Winner A Fisherman's Tale puts the player in a world where the rules of physics are turned upside down. The player works with endless, smaller and larger replicas of himself and his surroundings nested in matryoshka. Hand movements in the real world are about picking up, throwing, and combining objects to solve all sorts of puzzles to escape the twisted world of the lighthouse keeper. A Fisherman's Tale is developed by Innerspace VR in collaboration with ARTE France and with the support of CNC, Ville de Paris New Media Fund and BPI France, publisher is Vertigo Games.

The amazing VR Puzzle Adventure is already available for PlayStation VR, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality. It will also be released shortly for Oculus Quest. Impressions from the game are also in our review at that time.
