The North American company prepares an event full of news in which it is already confirmed that the strategy game will present its first gameplay.
One of the sagas of strategy par excellence will return to the life of Relic Entertainment. The authors of Company of Heroes and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War work in Age of Empires 4 for Windows 10. This was announced by Microsoft during a streaming on Gamescom 2019, a show that did not transcend further details about the title, beyond that It was in development. On the occasion of X019, the Microsoft event held in London, Aaron Greenberg, general manager of Xbox, has written a tweet accompanied by a GIF reminding that the video game will be presented at the fair.
"A new era is approaching in X019," says the tweet. The image portrays an eagle flying over wooded terrain, although not much is appreciated. Anyway, Aaron Greenberg himself told GamesStar that Age of Empires 4 would show its first gameplay on November 14, that is, in full X019.
The filing date is significant because Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition goes on sale. The classic returns refurbished thanks to an improved interface, more polished graphics and a playable experience more adjusted to the times. The remastering has not been developed by the study of the originals, as Microsoft decided to close the doors of Emsemble Studio before even the development of Halo Wars 2 culminated.
