Aliens: Fireteam shows and details 6 types of xenomorphs

The new title in the series is a cooperative multiplayer video game that takes place several decades after Alien 3.

Cold Iron Studios announced by surprise Aliens: Fireteam, a new title based on the popular Ridley Scott saga. The game, which will be released in the summer on both consoles and PC, will allow players to form squads to defeat the terrifying xenomorphs, alien creatures that have survival in their DNA. IGN has had the opportunity to access various data on these formidable aliens exclusively. As already anticipated in the press release, there will be 11 different types of xenomorphs: we already know the first 6.

All the details about the new xenomorphs

  • Bursters: Although they generally behave like Runners, Bursters are more dangerous. When they die, their bodies explode and expel acid. The species in which it is gestated is not known, but it is likely that it is indigenous to [censurado].
  • Drone: Although considered workers within the xenomorph swarm, drones are opportunistic hunters, known for their ability to move through air ducts that seem too narrow for them.   • Spitters: They prefer to keep distance between themselves and their prey. Although they have dangerous claws and teeth, they prefer to use the acid that comes out of their mouth to kill their prey.

Aliens: Fireteam is in development for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
