Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is not a title that has few fighters precisely. The work directed by Masahiro Sakurai already had a large template when it went on sale, back in December 2018. Now, a fan has recreated each and every one of them in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, another of Nintendo Switch’s greatest hits. And we already anticipated it: it was not a simple job.
In fact, as revealed by its author (DJ-Dez) on Reddit, moving the characters to the Animal Crossing islands has cost him hundreds of hours of hard work. “In the end I have succeeded!”, Published in the thread. “After more than 400 hours … all the characters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate have been transported to the world of Animal Crossing. Nintendo, this is my job application. ” Of course, Cinnamon is also present and very well recreated … because he was already a character in the Kyoto fighting title!
To carry out this work, DJ-Dez has used various tricks and has used the resources that the game itself provides (clothing, accessories, etc.). In addition, he has taken a photograph of each of the creations, which he has later unified into a choral image that you can visualize below these lines.

Two commercial successes
Both Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are two of the Nintendo Switch bestsellers.
