Apex Legends, the battle royale from Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts confirms its launch on Steam and Switch, in addition to the cross-game with PS4, PC and Xbox One.
Electronic Arts has confirmed during EA Play Live 2020 that Apex Legends will finally feature cross-platform play and, unsurprisingly due to the success of the video game, it will have a version on Nintendo Switch and Steam this coming fall. Respawn Entertainment’s free multiplayer battle royale title is here to stay.
EA has also presented during the broadcast all the news that will come to the game throughout this Season 5 that has just started, one of the most complete and varied since the title was launched. Highlight the content of the trailer: Lost Treasures Collection. In this way, PS4, Xbox One and PC players (Origin or Steam) together with Nintendo Switch, will be able to play online together from this last quarter and it will continue to be free. The free to play mode will continue with microtransactions: it will not become a full-price game. No details about a possible version for PS5 and Xbox Series X have come out either.
