Apex Legends modifies map rotation for community feedback

The Kings of Night Canyon map will disappear completely, while other additional adjustments have been made.

Respawn Entertainment has heard the complaints from Apex Legends players. The North American developer implemented a map rotation system, as well as the permanent Trios in the latest video game update. However, since these new features were added, the community has asked for the rotation system to be modified, something the developers have done after hearing the feedback.

They have announced it through the official Apex Legends Twitter account. “Last week, we implemented map rotation. After collecting all your feedback during the past 7 days, we have decided to make some changes. With immediate effect, we removed Kings Canyon at Night and reduced the availability of normal Kings Canyon ”, they publish.

And the Solos mode?

Respawn Entertainment's battle royale is immersed in one of its limited-time events, Old Customs. As we publish in FreeGameTips, it will end on April 21. Meanwhile, the developer also revealed that it is not among her plans to incorporate Solos mode permanently. The reason is that Apex Legends is designed for cooperative play, so the solo mechanics don't quite fit. In fact, some Legends cannot deploy their abilities under those circumstances.

Respawn Entertainment will continue to support Apex Legends in the long term. This free-to-play, available for PS4, Xbox One and PC, has a version for mobile devices planned, although its release date has not yet been announced. The studio has several teams, so it has a group specialized in narrative titles, which Stig Asmussen, director of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, is in charge of. According to Kotaku, Respawn is already working on a sequel to the video game based on the galactic saga. Its ending, of course, invites the possibility of continuing with the story of Cal Kestis, protagonist of the adventure.
