The battle royale of Respawn Entertainment is still immersed in Assimilation and offers the detailed content of its new event.
Apex Legends premiered Assimilation, its fourth season, just a few weeks ago. With it came a new Legend, Revenant, a fearsome character consumed by hate and more android than human. The new rewards of the Battle Pass, as well as the new adventures, will take place in the coming days. From March 3 to 17, Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment prepare the System Override collection event.
This new event introduces a limited time mode, already looted. Cañón Reyes also returns during these days, while a new type of equipment is incorporated, the evoescudos. As Respawn details on the official videogame website, the first week will be played at the End of the World, while in the second we will return to Cañón de Reyes. The rewards? Two legendary weapon aspects. In addition, they promise 24 premium cosmetic elements that will be tied to the event and that can be obtained directly (free) or through the System Cancellation packs. Finally, an Octane family heirloom set will also be available for free.
The aforementioned evoescudo will be weaker than the common body shield at the beginning, but as you damage unmoved players it will strengthen until it acquires more power than the epic body shield. They change color as they go, but it has a distinctive glow that helps identify them. It should be noted that progress is transferred from one player to another, which will add interesting situations to the video game, according to Respawn.
What is the Already looting mode?
Due to a system error, the booties appear in the same place in all the games during the event, as do the locations of the ring and the transport route. “The intention is to create a restructuring of the short-term goal and reward players for learning the new progress. But be careful, ”they warn, because“ not only will you know the location of the R-99 extended charger combination ”.
Respawn Entertainment has revealed that they will re-implement the new award registration system, which they premiered during the Gran Soiree arcade event. Of course, they will add additional improvements, such as more rewards and more frequent challenges.
Apex Legends is available on PC, Xbox One and PS4, but Electronic Arts has a mobile device version, whose release date is not yet known.
