Apex Legends: Season 7 Ascension Patch Notes

Respawn publishes the full Ascension Patch Notes for Apex Legends Season 7. It will arrive on November 4 at the battle royale.

Season 7 of Apex Legends will begin on November 4. Ascension will introduce a series of content that will expand the battle royale experience at all levels. From the inclusion of their new legend, Horizon, to their third playable map, Olympus, to the clan system, the first playable vehicle and much more.

Quality updates

  • Improvements in the exchange of accessories | The accessory you exchange will be transferred to your other weapon if it improves in quality to the one you have equipped.

  • Duplicator Updates | Manufacturing pool weapons have been exchanged for shield batteries. Items you craft cannot be picked up by other players for the first 5 seconds.

  • Clarity of air supplies | The colors of the rays have been changed to identify where it came from (Lifeline will be blue, and the Doubler will be blue) This affects the visual effects of the landing zone and its brightness when approaching.

Other quality improvements

  • The grenade warning icon now displays a miniature electrostar when a fence is thrown at you.

  • A new line of dialogue has been added when using a Phoenix kit and a holographic spray.

  • You can now mark ammo from your inventory to request more.

  • Ring modifications have been made to reduce the amount of unplayable space in circles.

Map rotations

  • Regular rotation of maps | Only Olympus will be available for two weeks. When that frame passes, Olympus will coexist with End of the world; Canyon of the Kings is out for now.

  • Qualifying rotation | The first half of the qualifying division will be played at Olympus; the second, in End of the world.

Information about legends

  • Bangalore | Rumble of Thunder reduces the explosion time from 8 seconds to 6 seconds.

  • Caustic | Passing through gas from your Nox gas traps or grenades no longer clouding Legends’ vision. Damage has been upgraded from 4-10 damage marks to 6-12 damage marks.

  • Mirage | Decoys now have 45 health points.

  • Octane | Healing speed when using Quick Repair has been doubled (from 0.5 points per second to 1).

  • Wattson | Safety Perimeter increases contact damage from 10 to 15.

  • She-wolf | Collected ammo no longer counts towards the Black Market maximum; you can collect all the ammunition at your fingertips.

  • Rampart | The Sheila Turret reduces its rate of fire from 2 seconds to 1.25 seconds. On the other hand, Wall + takes 3 seconds to build, instead of 4.

  • Pathfinder | Their impact boxes have been modified to make it easier to shoot both arms and legs. On the other hand, the grapple undergoes several changes: it no longer needs to be on the ground to be considered finished using the grapple, the speed that must drop to be considered finished has been increased from 300 to 500 units. The maximum wait time has been reduced from 35 seconds to 30 seconds and the amount of distance you can travel before reaching the maximum wait time has been doubled.

Weapon information

  • R99 | Return to this season’s normal loot pool with the same stats before moving to Supply Drop (11 damage and 20/22/24/27 ammo).

  • Prowler | Replaces R99 in delivery of supplies. The fire selector upgrade is integrated, which disappears from the loot group (magazine size 35 and ammo reserve 175).

  • Fully equipped weapons removed | Devotion, Mastiff, Triple Take, Flatline and Volt.

  • Fully equipped weapons added | Wingman, Sentinel, Havoc, G7 and Alternator.

  • Hemlok | Increased horizontal recoil to the right of the first 3 shots, increased the magnitude of recoil in the later stages of the pattern, reduced the recoil multiplier in single shot mode, and reduced the headshot multiplier (44 → 39 damage under those circumstances versus the basic character without a helmet).

  • Havoc | The rollback pattern has been updated. Hit up, then right, then left, and up again.

  • L-Star | New retracement pattern that hits horizontally at the beginning and maintains a constant upward retracement. Its ventilation time is reduced from 0.4 seconds to 0.15. It also reduces heat faster when not overheating: 1.15 seconds from 99.9% to 0% with no overheating; 2.45 seconds when it does.

  • Sentinel | Increased pure damage when you have energy, instead of bonus damage just off shields. Pure damage increased 18 points (from 70 to 88).

  • Triple Take | Rate of fire reduced from 1.3 to 1.2.

Weapon upgrades

  • New Upgrade: Quick Draw Holster | It can be attached to the RE-45 and Wingman. When equipped, the weapon can be raised and lowered more quickly, takes less time to aim the sight, and has less dispersion of the shot from the hip.

  • Selector Catcher is removed from the loot group.

General game changes

  • The requirements to evolve the evo shield have been increased.

  • Ring damage has been reduced to half the current percentage from the second (Seven rings with the following damage ratio: 2%, 3%, 5%, 10%, 10%, 15% and 15%).

Bug fixes

  • Sound | Footfall sound improvements to make them more realistic.

  • Pathfinder | Fixed the issue where zip lines would traverse platforms when deployed from below.

  • Wraith | Fixed causing Wraith’s ultimate to be canceled when preparing a grenade.

  • Octane | The player will no longer get stuck in a double jump after using a jump pad. Healing items can no longer be used on a zip line.

  • Revenant | Fixed an issue that caused Revenant to push himself under the map when deploying the totem in tight spaces.

  • Crypto | You will no longer be able to use inventory items with the drone. The drone will not mark allied Mirage decoys as enemies and will be able to enter through windows.

  • Rampart | Fixed a bug that prevented wall placement + when jumping. Also fixed an issue that caused Sheila to teleport when placed in a Sequencing hatch in World’s End.
