The game will be available from March 19 to the 23 of the same month on all systems on which it is available, except Stadia.

In times of quarantine and the coronavirus (COVID-19), traveling through Classical Greece is a real possibility, but only through cinema, reading, photography or video games. That's precisely what Assassin's Creed Odyssey offers, the latest installment in the Ubisoft saga, which will be playable for free from March 19 to 23 (and it's on sale!). The company confirms that all PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC users will be able to enjoy the adventure for a limited time. Those who do not want to waste time can already start the preload in Uplay and in the Sony system.

The story of Alexios and Kassandra will unfold in full, as Ubisoft has explained that all the content of the main game will be available. Also, the saved progress will be kept and can be carried over to the final game. On the other hand, Ubisoft recently announced that Ezio Auditore's suit would arrive in the video game along with his sword. What they did not explain is how it would be achieved. According to the press release forwarded by the French, during this period, all players will unlock the set of the protagonist of Assassin's Creed 2, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed Revelations.

What time does it start and end?

Europe and the Middle East:

  • PC: March 19 at 12:00 p.m. (CET), March 23 until 5:00 p.m. (CET)

America

Months ago, Ubisoft announced a final update that would add the final touches to the adventure, as well as the contents of the roadmap that were still to come. Still, the developer has just released a new patch that basically fixes a couple of bugs that the title has dragged on since its release.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is set in the time of the Peloponnesian Wars, before the Order of the Assassins was founded. All in all, there are some people who, like Alexios or Kassandra, possess special abilities. Whichever protagonist you choose, you will have to embark on an epic journey that will take you to explore the Greek islands, while looking for the fate of the main character, who is channeled through his actions.

The title, developed by Ubisoft Quebec, was released for sale in October 2018, though the studio has worked to equip the product with new content for months. In addition to the free stories and bonus modes, the main storyline was expanded with two new story arcs, released episodically and now complete.
