Assassin’s Creed Valhalla confirms hidden blade deaths and social stealth

Both mechanics are back. Ubisoft explains the return of two options demanded by players in the playable section.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will not neglect some of the most widely accepted playable mechanics from the latest installments in the series: Instant Deaths through Social Stealth and Instant Deaths with the Hidden Blade. Ashraf Ismail, creative director of the title, has confirmed in a meeting with Kotaku that both options are returned as they already did in Assassin’s Creed Origins; the last installment that he himself directed in 2017.

"Eivor will receive the hidden blade really early in the game," he begins by saying. “We continue with the idea that Eivor is not a trained assassin; Eivor is a Viking who is given a mind-blowing weapon and must learn to use it very quickly. He will learn a technique that, with the proper timing, will allow him to kill anyone with a single blow ”, he continues.

In addition, it also confirms that social stealth is another of the classic aspects that will return to Assasin’s Creed Valhalla, of which they recognize a great acceptance among the fan community. “We have taken a very cool turn to all this. But, yes, social stealth is back. ” The idea that a Norse or a Viking is in a place where they don't want him, that he has to go undercover and try to hide in the crowd, makes a lot of sense, "he says. And so it will be.
