The title, produced by Square Enix, was officially announced at E3 of 2018, but since then nothing had been known about it.
PlatinumGames had already warned: there will be more information about Babylon's Fall before the end of the year. They said so and it has happened. The Japanese developer had maintained an absolute silence, because nothing was known since its announcement, at E3 2018. However, the silence is over. During the most recent State of Play, Square Enix has presented the first gameplay trailer of the video game, which you can enjoy on these lines.
When is its launch planned? At the moment, it is still an unknown. In the same presentation trailer, the player is placed to wait until summer 2020, when new information will be announced. The official thing is that the video game is still planned for two specific platforms, PS4 and PC (via Steam). The title is produced by Square Enix.

Vanquish and Bayonetta, remastered for PS4 and Xbox One
Anyway, it will not be the only PlatinumGames title that is planned for the future. With a closer launch window, there are the remastering of two of the classics of the Japanese developer, Bayonetta and Vanquish. Both works will return remastered with the option to be enjoyed in 4K resolution and 60 fps. Coinciding with the tenth anniversary of both productions, SEGA has announced that they will be marketed on February 18, 2020. They can be purchased separately, but will also be available in a joint pack.
Although the name of Bayonetta is currently linked to Nintendo, since Mario's company financed the second installment and is also working on the third, the first videogame of the saga came out under the umbrella of Sonic's. In any case, Bayonetta 3 has not yet been shown in all its glory. It was announced during The Game Awards 2017, and since then, no new material has been presented.
