The battery of video game announcements does not stop, so Larian's new project will be no exception.
The new production of Larian Studios is still underway and with the fixed objective of launching Baldur's Gate 3 in early access. Despite the challenges stemming from the coronavirus epidemic, the Belgian developer has confirmed that her plan remains to publish it this year. Although there is no specific date announced, the news about the game will not be asked. In fact, the company has released a small playable teaser, a video that previews ads starting June 6.
"Throughout the month of June, we will reveal more about Baldur's Gate 3", they publish on the social network Twitter. They will do so at an event to which they have already confirmed their attendance, the Guerrilla Collective. It is one of the many digital alternatives built around the cancellation of E3 2020, another victim of the coronavirus.

Development continues apace
In an interview with The New York Times, Larian Studios founder Swen Vincke confirmed that the studio operated at 70% to 80% of its productivity. The creative recognized that at the beginning of the crisis the thing worked more or less smoothly, but as the weeks progressed, they encountered communication and management challenges. This led to stressful situations. In any case, development is progressing well and there has only been some slowdown in processes.
Larian Studios continues one of the most reputable franchises within the RPG genre. The saga was started by BioWare, the creators of Mass Effect and Dragon Age, who developed two timeless classics, now available thanks to Beamdog remasters. The parents of Divinity, meanwhile, want to maintain the legacy of these video games, although they already anticipated that they would do it their way. This has an impact on the combat system, designed under a turn structure. On the other hand, the story will be new, but it is not ruled out that old characters make an appearance.
