After various rumors about the new Warman Bros. Montreal Batman game, the latter themselves started spreading the first teasers to the game last week. An announcement is therefore within reach. In the meantime there have been further reports that the speculated 'Batman Arkham Legacy' is a next-gen title for the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

In any case, the insider ‘KC Walsh’ claims on Twitter that the new Batman game is primarily created for the new hardware. A cross-gen release is quite possible. He also claims that the game will not be called 'Batman Arkham Legacy'.

When asked further whether it was a successor to Batman: Arkham Origins, they didn't want to give away too much, but people will be surprised, they say. In addition, and in his opinion, the game could be premiered earlier than originally planned, as the pressure and demands here are now increasing.

If the information is correct, a premiere at the PlayStation Meeting for PS5 would be conceivable, even if this is still not confirmed. The E3 in June could also be considered as an option. As is so often the case with rumors, you also have to be patient in this case and wait and see what actually comes out in the end.
