The non-canon asymmetrical multiplayer mode of Resident Evil 3 Remake will be available for free to everyone who purchases the game.
It was born as an independent video game within the saga, but it will finally be published alongside Resident Evil 3 Remake. In Resident Evil Resistance, all players who purchase the video game will have access to this asymmetric multiplayer mode, in which four players will fight against a master brain, managed by another user. There will be no mercenary mode this time, since Capcom has decided to put all the meat on the grill in the campaign and in this product, which is already possible to test thanks to the open beta, available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Capcom has released a demo of the remake, which takes us back to the streets of Raccoon City. As an announcement, starting March 27, it would give access to the open beta of Resistance, which although it has characters from the franchise, nothing that is shown is canonical. According to the description, in this beta we will have "an appetizer" of the new "online multiplayer mode 1 vs 4". The master brain will have to prevent the survivors from escaping at all costs, while the survivors will try to do just the opposite.

This test works independently of the Resident Evil 3 Remake demo, so it won't automatically update to host Resistance.
