Bioware develops game based on the "most prestigious franchise"

Playfront

After the 'Anthem' debacle, Bioware started developing a new game that is one of the studio's “most prestigious franchises”.

This is clear from current job advertisements from Bioware, although it is not entirely clear whether you mean a new Mass Effect or the now partially announced Dragon Age game. Both would surely come into question.

In any case, the job advertisement looks for a technical director for “the next big title in one of the most renowned franchises at BioWare”. We are also talking about "developing, debugging and optimizing AAA multiplayer games on PC or console."

Whether Mass Effect or Dragon Age, can currently only be guessed. For both brands, there was recently evidence that new offshoots were in the works. For example, the original Mass Effect Director, Mike Gamble, returned to Bioware to work on a still unknown project.

Regarding Dragon Age 4, Bioware made the announcement itself some time ago without initiating EA into these plans. What ultimately became of it is currently completely unclear.

However, it can be assumed that the new project will be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X at the earliest.
