Gamescom Opening Night Live shares a new development diary for the upcoming Dragon Age 4 delving into its art, animations and more.
Bioware has taken advantage of tonight’s Gamescom Opening Night Live event to present a new development trailer for the next Dragon Age, known for now as Dragon Age 4 as a working title, a new look “behind the scenes” by its creative team that shows us something more about how the project is progressing, a title that according to its creators we will still take years to see.
Dragon Age behind the scenes
Thus, those responsible for the new Dragon Age have starred in a new installment of those trailers that Bioware loves so much and in which we see how they work to make each new title come true; In this case, several artists have spoken about the challenge of facing the project of an RPG of such dimensions, showing their latest advances in terms of settings, character design, animations, inspirations and more.
Beyond the difficulties they have experienced with the global coronavirus crisis and the decision to continue working remotely, those responsible have not advanced much more information about a project that will still take years to see how it becomes a reality. Even so, if they have talked about the central theme of the video game, which will revolve around “what happens when you have no power, when the people who show their faces do not recognize the difficulties that come”, they point out.
At the moment little more is known about a new installment of a saga whose last installment was Dragon Age Inquisition of 2014, which appeared in the current generation and which garnered quite positive reviews from the specialized press and the general public; Let’s not forget that their last two projects, both Mass Effect Andromeda and Anthem, have not lived up to the best video games of the studio, something they hope to solve with the launch of this new installment of a saga as beloved as Dragon Age.
