Blox Fruits Update 30 delivers a sweeping overhaul that reshapes the First Sea, introduces a hidden puzzle system, raises the experience cap, adds a magnet‑powered Fruit, and refreshes the interface.
First Sea Reimagined
The overhaul revamps every island in Sea 1, providing new textures, brighter lighting, and redesigned building styles. Bosses receive refreshed attacks and an awakened mode that intensifies each encounter.
Players will now find a Mentor NPC in Middletown who guides the Quest lineup, and the Gacha Dealer has moved to that hub.
The updated layout also lets you preview weapons and boats before purchase, giving better decision‑making at the market.
Secret Puzzles & Level Cap Boost
Every island now hosts three secret puzzles that award stars when completed. Collecting three stars unlocks a secret level that grants additional experience.
These secret levels culminate in a new maximum level of 3,000, up from the former 2,800 cap. Completing all 40 secrets across the 16 islands is required to reach the final threshold.
A newly added world map appears in the HUD after the first secret is solved, allowing players to navigate islands and monitor progress.
Magnet Fruit Mechanics
The Magnet Fruit introduces a magnetic energy meter that fills as scrap is gathered, unlocking three stages. Each stage increases pull radius, combo duration, and defensive capabilities.
Action buttons upgrade: Z fires magnetic projectiles; X traps enemies in cages; C pulls opponents into the air and slams them down; F initiates free flight after a grab.
Transformation, called Overdrive, halves damage taken, reduces gun damage, and magnifies lightning attacks. While transformed, weapon grabs and flight are maintained until the toggle key releases the state.
Gacha, Dragon Fruit, and Other Features
Special enemies that spawn hourly provide Magnet tokens, which can be exchanged at the Gacha Dealer for new rewards; the Magnet Gacha includes rare fruits, accessories, and a chaser tier featuring items such as Lime Blade and Starlight Gravity.
The Dragon Fruit returns to the rollable pool, giving players another avenue to obtain this highly prized Fruit through the Gacha system.
Additional extras include a limited‑time Magnet event, new hero backgrounds, and a Chromatic Gacha Box that hosts chase reward tier items.
UI Overhaul & Quality‑of‑Life Tweaks
Menus and stats have been redesigned for a cleaner look; health and energy displays now integrate seamlessly into the HUD. NPC dialogue has been upgraded, and the loading screen is refreshed.
The player profile features new tabs for friends and search, while the Weapon and Boat dealers now let players preview items before committing to purchase.
Boss drop previews appear upon approaching a boss, and the Team selection screen offers a more intuitive layout. These changes collectively smooth the overall gameplay experience.
