It's certainly no secret that Activision is working on the next Call of Duty game that has been officially discussed for the first time. The release in the fourth quarter of 2020 was confirmed in the course of the current quarterly report.
As President and Chief Operating Officer Coddy Johnson said, players can expect a premium experience here that has already received extremely positive feedback from the play testers.
“The franchise has never been so well positioned and there will be more, including completely new experiences in the Modern Warfare universe and, of course, a new premium version of Call of Duty in the fourth quarter of this year, which is already generating enthusiasm in our play tests . "
Chief Financial Officer, Dennis Durkin, added:
“We can't wait to reveal what our teams have been working on, and we are very happy with the content, although, as usual, we expect to sell less in the fourth quarter than we did compared to Modern Warfare in the past Year."
If current rumors are used again, Treyarch's Black Ops 5 should appear in this issue, as there are said to have been disputes recently among the three Call of Duty studios.
