Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone: Season 1 delayed a few days

Activision announces that this free content, which will be the largest released to date, will take a few more days.

The first season of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, which will also kick off the integration with Call of Duty: Warzone, will not arrive on December 10 as planned. This has been confirmed by Activision in an update of the official blog, in which it has revealed that the end date will move slightly in time. It will be from December 16 when players can access all this content.

According to the North American company, “Season 1 is the largest free content released in the history of Black Ops, a massive expansion” that will integrate Operators, weapons, player progression and the rewards of the Battle Pass both in Black Ops Cold War as in Warzone. From now on, the Infinity Ward battle royale will go beyond Verdansk, as a new map and an unreleased launch mode will be added, as well as 30 of the Black Ops Cold War weapons. Additionally, a new experience at the Gulag has been announced. You can read all the leaks in this news.

Activision has also revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will receive a new multiplayer map, new 6v6 modes and the return of 2v2 Gunfight. We will travel to a battlefield located in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles. “That’s right, the legendary 6v6 map known as Raid in Call of Duty: Black Ops II will be available in Black Ops Cold War from the launch of Season 1.” As if that weren’t enough, you can purchase new weapons, enjoy the new Zombie modes and seasonal challenges, as well as the new prestige system.

During the weekend of December 12 and until the launch of Season 1, players will be able to collect twice the experience, both in terms of weapon and character experience. A first update for the new video game from Treyarch and Raven Software will be released on December 8, while a second update will be released on December 15. The patch for Warzone is planned for December 16.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
