Activision presents the first trailer of its new FPS installment, confirming the release date and first details; PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
As Activision recently advised, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has finally been officially presented, the new installment of the popular FPS saga that this time is set in the Cold War and that will go on sale next 13 November 2020 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, confirming next-gen versions, i.e. PS5 and Xbox Series X, later. This has been explained by Treyarch, sharing the first cinematic trailer of the title and its first details, confirming that it is a direct sequel to the first Call of Duty: Black Ops of 2010.
Campaign, multiplayer, zombies, editions and more
Thus, Treyarch has revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will have a campaign mode, unlike Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which decidedly bet on different online modes. It has been confirmed, however, that all Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players will be able to play with each other regardless of the platform thanks to cross play between platforms and even generations, when PS5 and Xbox Series X are available. , both in competitive and cooperative modes. Of course, in this case, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will not be updated for free to the new generation as it happens in other intergenerational titles; however, for those who want to make the leap to the new generation, they can opt for a more expensive 10 euro version that will give the option to upgrade to PS5 or Xbox Series X when available.
Beyond the aforementioned cross-gen Bundle, two editions will go on sale, the standard and the Definitive Edition with an added price of 30 euros over the basic edition and which will include the Confrontation weapons pack, the Earth, sea skin pack and air and the Battle Pass of season 1.
