Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War releases the Season 1 Reloaded update, now available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and PC.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War welcomes the content update for Season 1 Reloaded. As we have already been telling you about the days before its arrival, this wave has as its main image the second chapter of Zombies mode: Firebase Z.

The patch, already available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC, goes beyond adding new elements. Treyarch corrects certain roughnesses found in these first months in the market. We already know the full notes.

What’s New

Zombies

  • Added Firebase Z, second chapter of the Dark Aether story arc

  • Soda Tombstone, new advantage. All the details in this link.

  • Napalm and Artillery Strike, two new casualty streaks.

  • Added Dead Ops Arcade Advanced Solo Start mode.

  • New category of challenges: advanced requiem.

  • New Dark Ops challenge for Firebase Z.

  • Added Express as a map for Onslaught (PS4 / PS5 exclusive).

Competitive

  • Express, new 6vs6 map

  • Endurance, new game mode for 40 players

  • Four new maps for accessory hunting: Express, Raid, Crossroads Stgrike and Armada Strike

  • Nuketown ’84 is added to the shooting rotation.

Fixes and changes

Competitive

  • Fixed a problem with the distribution of the maps in the playlists in which there is no vote.

  • Updated the hot spot score obtained to increase the score of the player who has been in one the longest. This modifier will reset after exiting the hotspot.

  • Reduced the secured hot spot score from 50 to 25 points.

  • Reduced the time a player can join a game started on Dropkick.

  • Added additional defense spawn points and updated logic for Capture Point B in Raid.

  • Increased player counter to allow two spectators in CDL hot spot, CDL seek and destroy, and CDL Control.

  • Increased minimum damage for launchers.

  • Fixed an issue where players inside the smoke coming from a smoke grenade would be able to get aim assist against players outside of it.

  • Reduced the accuracy of the shot from the hip when preparing a grenade while running.

  • Treyarch’s original music unlocked through War Songs can be heard on the music player in the barracks, including Pentagon, Rooftops, 115 and Damned.

Zombies

  • Players can complete the Omega Intelligence Collection in Die Maschine.

  • Fixed a bug in Die Maschiene that rarely placed players off the map when teleporting from the Dark Aether.

  • Fixed a bug that prevented quick revives from reducing the time it takes to regenerate full health.

  • Self-reviving will only drop if a player can equip it.

  • Limited the maximum number of self-revivals that fall in a game to the total number of players in it.

  • Increased critical damage and max ammo for all assault rifles.

  • Increased critical damage and max ammo for all SMGs.

  • Increased the base damage and range of the Streetsweeper shotgun.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented accessories from appearing in the Western Justice weapon project.

  • Level 1 armor will replace the first armor piece that drops in a match when neither player has one.

Dead Ops Arcade

  • New item: potion of divine shield.

  • Added additional spawn points on the tunnel route.

  • Added 1.5 second shield damage while player is in first person.

  • Slight adjustments to progression multiplier.

  • Life donation now begins after round 64. The player with the highest number of lives will be able to donate to fallen teammates with a refresh rate of 120 seconds.

  • Fixed an issue where the player’s shield remained active, even though the effect was not visible.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented extra lives from being awarded on expected scores.

  • Fixed various playable bugs related to chicken disappearing, control changes when exiting vehicles, unexpected deaths, and more.

  • Dramatically reduced the range of the spider’s attack.

  • Removed the skeleton boss from respawning in the arena.

  • Eliminated the demons of the respawn in the arena.

  • Reduced the distance of Megaton damage.

  • Reduced the reappearance of Megaton in the arena after round 64.

  • Reduced the health of Megaton in the arena.

  • Megaton Orbs will no longer kill in one hit in the arena.

  • After Round 64, enemy targeting behavior will only follow proximity elements.

  • Skeleton horde health, amount, duration and damage increased.

  • Fixed an issue where the melee damage dealt by a friendly skeleton guardian would not register on enemies.

  • Fixed an issue where zombies could speed up when under the effects of the timer slow.

  • Fixed an issue where explosive damage against spiders and chunks of meat would not register correctly.

  • Fixed an issue where spiders could or would appear on the radar.

  • Fixed an issue that allowed the gladiator to kill the player when they were not looking in the proper direction.

  • Fixed an issue where Margwa would not drop gear when falling.

  • Divine Chalice players now achieve an extra life 37.5% faster than standard players every 125,000 points.

  • Users with divine chalices now respawn with a temporary vitality boost.

  • Players with Divine Goblets now respawn with a Divine Shield boost.

  • After round 64, when a Divine Chalice player picks up a Nuke, all players will be rewarded with one.

  • Chickens last 25% longer.

  • The Fate of Friendship and the Golden Chicken will now produce eggs in the sand.

  • Fixed an issue that could prevent players from landing a destination in the Hall of Destiny when the room expires.

  • Added lighting in the Hall of Fate on the Rock of Fate on Pedestals 5 and 6.

  • Fixed an issue with various particle effects appearing.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented the player’s skin from appearing as intended.

  • Fixed an issue that caused a shotgun to slow fire before taking a dash.

  • Fixed several unexpected closures.

  • Fixed various exploits.

  • Fixed an issue where the player was unable to use the flashlight in first person.

  • Fixed an issue with some collisions in the Water Temple.

  • Fixed an issue in split screen mode where the entrance to The Wild was being shared.

  • The party leader no longer needs to have Dead Ops Arcade 3 installed for other players to join games in other Zombies modes.

  • Fixed an issue that caused an unlimited slowdown of Zombies if they were killed while taking cover.

Onslaught (PS5 / PS4 only)

  • More spaced special enemy respawns.

  • Added additional enemies to the mode in Firebase Z.

Pc

  • Fixed several unexpected closures.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when watching a replay in the Cinema.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when launching the game under certain conditions in Windows 7.

  • Fixed an issue that could cause the keyboard and mouse to stop working when the capture menu was opened and closed with the Windows and G keys.

  • Fixed an issue where players could get stuck in the pause menu under certain conditions during a match.
