Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – 3v3 & 1v1 Gunfight Modes in planning

Playfront

Developer Infinity Ward is working on two more variants of gunfight mode in 'Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare', which is set to be implemented in the near future.

As the developer writes on Twitter, you want to implement the mode with the variants 3v3 and 1v1, but without giving a specific timetable for it. Here you just have to wait for further announcements.

Gunfight is a mode in which two teams / players compete in multi-round cage matches. Some see it as a kind of NBA jam-style mode. All players compete in the same loadout, which changes every two rounds, including a primary weapon, secondary weapon, tactical grenade and Lethal equipment.

Each lap lasts 40 seconds before the overtime starts, signaling to the teams that a flag is spawning somewhere on the map. From then on, each team has 10 seconds to capture the flag and hold it for 3 seconds. Whichever team wins first wins the round of 6. If no team manages to capture and hold the flag, the team that has more health in the end wins.
