Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone confirm return of beloved character

The new bundle of the video game incorporates Sergeant Griggs, one of the remembered protagonists of the fourth installment of the saga.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a reinterpretation of the original game by Infinity Ward, a game that adopts the same title as its predecessor, but that tells a completely new story. Along with him, although independently, Warzone was born, the battle royale mode, which will also adapt to the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War season, the new installment of the series. With the patch 1.29 just released, the Americans have confirmed a bundle in which one of the characters from the fourth chapter appears, Sergeant Griggs.

This character played an important role in the invasion of the Middle East. Under Vasquez’s orders, he joined the search for Khaled Al-Asad, a feared ultra-nationalist extremist. They believed it was in a specific neighborhood, but the operation failed at that point. So they came to help an M1A2 Abrams tank that had run aground in a swamp and was emitting a Boar signal. After releasing the tank, the equipment was removed by helicopter. Thus begins the story of Sergeant Griggs in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

What else does the bundle include?

The bundle also offers other additional items: a Boar weapons project for the assault rifle, as well as the Ultimatum project for the submachine gun. Among the most prominent additions is Griggs’ finishing blow (On one side), which features three moves, an emblem (, a charm, and a sticker. The SGT Operator Bundle costs a total of 2,400 CP (Call of Duty Points, the game currency).

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare went on sale last October 2019 for PS4, Xbox One and PC, while Warzone did the same in March of this year. The latter works under the free-to-play model, so all players can access it for free. Taking advantage of the launch of Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PS5, the game will be adapted to the new consoles.
