The update focuses on balancing some aspects of the game, but new modes are also added to the game list.
The modern war does not cease in its efforts and continues its war campaign in 2020. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the most recent of Infinity Ward and Activision, went on sale last year, although the Americans have a planned roadmap for the next months. The study also works on offering solutions and improving the overall experience, so they just released patch 1.14 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The update adjusts some weapons in order to balance multiplayer games. In addition, the Infinity Ward has included new modes in the game list. Here are the patch notes:

- Added Deathmatch Domination mode.
- Added custom Gunfight mode.
- The Shipment 24/7 map returns, replacing Shoot the Ship.
- Winter Docks removed.
- Flag capture has been moved to Quick Departure.
General improvements
Weapons
- MP5: reduced head shot multiplier; Small reduction of the range to 10mm.
- M5: Damage decreases slightly to reduce the effectiveness of head shots; its range is also reduced.
- M13: The range is increased, horizontal recoil is reduced and damage is increased to improve the effectiveness of head shots.
- Crossbow: the number of arrows needed to kill a helicopter has been adjusted. Instead of three termite darts, we must shoot five to bring down a VTOL and six to destroy the helicopter.
Error correction
- Fixed an exploit in Terrestrial War via ATV
- Fixed the disappearance of a character modeling with the LA OpTic CDL skin.
- Shipment: the reappearance has been adjusted to reduce the frequency of deaths and traps when the character comes back to life. The places of recurrence are also modified and a new logic for Domination is added.
- When using keyboard and mouse a button will appear that will allow access to the social menu when the matchmaking is done. They have corrected the fact that when using the DualShock 4 the button that appeared on the screen was that of the Xbox One controller.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare can be purchased on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. For the first time in the saga, the title combines all platforms in its multiplayer, since cross-play is one of the main features of this installment. As if that were not enough, the agreement between Sony and Activision has not prevented all content from leaving at the same time on all platforms. The American company has opted for a model of seasons and battle passes instead of the usual season passes of previous chapters. With that decision they pretend that there is no division within the community of players.
