Call of Duty: Modern Warfare eliminates Realistic Mode

The release of the last patch has brought some improvements, but also the goodbye of this modality, although Infinity Ward has not pronounced.

The war that is reproduced in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is an adapted version that makes up some parts and accommodates them to their videogame status. However, Infinity Ward added a Realistic Mode in which not only the interface disappears, but the game also becomes more complicated, since a shot in the head means instant death. This option has disappeared after the last update of the title.

As Gaming Bolt points out, not all of those options have disappeared. However, it is necessary to select the night vision maps. By the way, neither Infinity Ward nor Activision have manifested in this regard. The patch notes did not mention at all that the realistic mode had been removed.

The conflict with the Russians

The title campaign has not escaped a bitter controversy, which has led some Russian users to practice review bombing, that is, the publication of criticisms and absurdly negative notes on websites such as Metacritic. This arose as a result of the fact that the fictional facts that are narrated in the game, which are mixed with real events of the past, take the Russians as the oppressive people. Taylor Kurosaki, narrative director, said the following:

"I think you could find many different uses of the words highway of death in many cases," said the developer. "The reason why Uzikstan is a fictional country is because we are dealing with issues that have been seen over and over again in the last 50 years in countries around the world, and we are not doing a simulation of one in particular, nor of a specific conflict. "

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare went on sale last October 26 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Unlike the rest of the deliveries, thanks to the opening of the PlayStation 4 platform, the game works with cross play between all versions.
