Call of Duty: Warzone welcomes Season 6. The next step of the battle royale begins with the force of a new wave of content. Not only will we have the possibility to control Farah and Nikolai, two of the heroes of the Modern Warfare campaign, but Verdasnk is renewed with new areas that directly affect the way you navigate the map.

Update 1.27 brings with it a multitude of elements that we will break down in the next few lines. This sixth season is the prelude to what is to come as of 13-N, once the next installment is put on sale. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will remove new foundations for the success of Infinity Ward. Meanwhile, that path until the appointed day can be made more animated by completing the battle pass.

New destinations on the map

Do you remember the closed metro entrances in the center of Verdansk? As of September 29, they will remain open. Players will be able to access the complex network of tunnels of the Soviet subway. The study wanted to delve into the options to move around the map. It is not only by land, sea or air, but underground there is an optimal method to move without being detected.

Beyond the rooms, which will hide multiple equipment chests, the main chicha are in the wagons. Once you enter, you can go to the next station from which you are. There are 7 spread over 8 access points:

  • International Airport

  • Lozoff Pass

  • Verdansk Center Stadium

  • Downtown

  • Barakett shopping district

  • Verdansk railway station

  • Torsk block

If you jump onto the train tracks, you will die. Not even your companions will be able to agree to collect the remains of your inventory. You will know that you cannot touch that area when you see the electrical effect being fired from them. On the other hand, the trains will not work if there is a fight inside. Whether you are inside the wagon or the platform, if you find yourself in the middle of a firefight, you will not be able to run away hot.

The opening of the subway does not affect the freight train introduced in the fifth season at all. This will continue its course around the western zone with the same amount of equipment and opportunities. The new zone serves as an extension of the playable area, only under it.

Weapons

As usual, players will have access to two new weapons: SP-R 208 and AS-VAL. The sniper rifle and the assault rifle, respectively, are a combination of novelty and nostalgia. The first is an alternate version of an old friend from the series, the R700. The name change does not limit its long-range capabilities, either with an optimal sight or as a versatile action rifle.

In the case of the AS-VAL, this is the first time it has appeared in a modern installment of the series. For Battlefield fans it will not be unknown, since it was one of the main faces of the third and fourth numbered installments. It stands out for its barrel, a silencer integrated into the design that allows it to hunt down enemies without raising suspicions.

You can see the official descriptions below:

  • SP-R 208 | This tactical bolt-action rifle arrives as one of the most accurate weapons in its class and with a wide variety of customization options. From alternate ammo types to assembling barrel modifications, no matter how you configure this weapon, it is a powerful portable tool for any scout. It is unlocked by reaching level 15 of the battle pass.

  • AS-VAL | This thirteenth assault rifle in its class is a rare Soviet workhorse that is chambered with 9.39mm subsonic ammunition and comes equipped with an integral silencer. Combined with its high rate of fire, the AS-VAL is built to be quiet, accurate, highly penetrable, and on a fairly configurable platform. You will get it after reaching level 31 of the battle pass.

Unreleased gameplay and equipment changes

Call of Duty Season 6. Warzone will introduce a new game mode: Armored Royale. In it, each squad will respawn with an armored truck, which features a stationary turret on the front of the vehicle. Downed limbs will be able to respawn as long as their truck remains in one piece. If it is destroyed, you will not respawn anymore. Whoever remains alive wins, regardless of whether their truck is still standing.

  • 10 rare weapons

  • 13 rare weapons

  • 18 epic weapons

  • 24 legendary weapons

There is a night version of the map of which no details have been revealed. We also do not know what will await us in Haunting of Verdansk, a limited-time event that will begin on October 20 and will run until November 3.
