Capcom indefinitely banns two players for offensive behavior

The Osaka company has banned their participation in official Capcom Fighters events for improper behavior. Exemplary measure.

Capcom has issued a statement to report the expulsion of two professional players from the Capcom Fighters circuit for prolonged misconduct. The company's official fighting videogames organized circuit account states that Dalauan "LowTierGod" Sparrow and Christina "CeroBlast" Tran have committed "offensive behavior online", which they consider a violation of the rules of use of their online policy.

Thus, as the codes of conduct dictated by any participant in the Capcom Fighters circuit have been violated, both players are eliminated from any event operated by the Capcom Pro Tour or Street Fighter League, among others, “for an unlimited time, including both this and year like those that are to come until further notice ”, they add.

They also indicate that it is a global ban, which means that it does not only affect local competitions but is applied internationally. "We will continue to closely monitor this situation as well as any other that is inappropriate," they conclude in the statement, published on April 24.

CeroBlast apologized a few minutes before

Despite the note, CeroBlast published only an hour before a message on Twitter where he apologizes and regrets his behavior, although in vain. "I wish I could reverse everything I said," he says. Despite everything, a few minutes later the exemplary Capcom Fighters message was broadcast, making the rule known.

“I deeply feel what I have said in this clip (…) I feel disappointed when I have already apologized in the past for doing things better; and now I have fallen again, ”he says in the message published on his personal Twitter account, where he acknowledges having“ betrayed ”his community for his behavior.

In the absence of knowing whether or not the Capcom Fighters measure is irreversible under the apologies, the statement is clear: the expulsion is indefinite.
