Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions presents his characters in new images

Oliver and Benji's game will be released on consoles and PC sometime in 2020. There will be story mode and original episodes for the game.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions has been revealed in four new images. Bandai Namco continues to work on this new installment based on the universe of Oliver and Benji, one of the most important manganime in the history of Shonen Jump.

Although in the images we see familiar faces, the game will include a story mode in which we can create our own hero, our aspiring to be one of the best players in Japan. For this, a team will have to be chosen from three options: Furano Middle School of Hokkaido; Japan Toho Academy in Tokyo (where Mark Lenders plays) and Musashi Middle School, led by Jun Misugi.

The goal of said mode is to face Nankatsu Middle School, where Oliver Atom (Tsubasa Ozora) plays, and get to participate in the New Hero League, the national tournament. Recently, we have been able to see in detail what the character creator of the game will be like. One of the aspects that can already be confirmed is that the title will not keep the names of the players, stadiums and teams of the version that we could see on television in Spain, but the original of the manga. In this way, Oliver will be called Tsubasa Ozora, among many others like Kojiro Hyuga, whom we met here as Mark Lenders. In this news we review as a guide all the confirmed names.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions will be released on a yet to be confirmed 2020 date for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The creator of the manganime, Yoichi Takahashi, was kind enough to comment on the announcement of the game that "both fans of Captain Tsubasa and football in general will enjoy it." Tamsoft is taking charge of making what is the first console videogame in the last ten years.

FreeGameTips has already been able to play a few hours to this new bet by Bandai Namco for Oliver and Benji in video games, which has once again appealed to the epic in its spectacular latest extended trailer.
