So much so, that after the announcement by both Sony and Microsoft about the possibility of returning the money to those Buyers of the game through their digital stores, it is now the game developer itself, CD Projekt RED, which announces a new method of reimbursement for physical copies, yes, only until next December 21, providing an email user service. This was published by the Polish study in a recent tweet through its official Twitter account.

And it is that many are the users who have acquired Cyberpunk 2077 in physical format for PS4 and Xbox One and have been unable to return the game to the physical store in which they acquired the game after such a controversial launch, since most of establishments do not accept returns once the box has been unsealed. Now, CD Projekt RED has enabled an email address so that all those buyers of the game on disc can request a refund, although yes, for a limited time, since requests will only be accepted until the next day 21.

“We want you to know that our intention is that each owner of a physical copy, or a digital copy purchased in a store, and who has valid proof of purchase, receives a refund. We will do it from our own pocket if necessary ”, they assure from CD Projekt RED in this new statement.

Thus, those who cannot obtain a refund for a physical game in their store, can write to the address helpmerefund@cdprojektred.com attaching the purchase receipt. As of the 21st, the deadline for claims using this method, the company will begin to contact users to continue with the process of returning and reimbursing the title.
