The Pokémon Company and Niantic have announced the return of Mewtwo Battleship to Pokémon GO. The Japanese giant, on the occasion of the premiere of Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back: Evolution on Netflix this February 27, Pokémon Day, from which other developments related to the saga are expected, will also add the first cloned Pokémon in the history of a video game of the license.

For their part, the cloned Pokémon are on their way to Pokémon GO. That they have been confirmed, Venusaur, Blastoise and Charizard (Venusaurtwo, Blastoisetwo and Charizardtwo) will be seen in the Level 4 Raids from the date mentioned. A little bit of Pokémon history: what are cloned Pokémon?
To understand the origin of the cloned Pokémon you have to go back to the Pokémon movie: Mewtwo vs. Mew, the original film released there by April 2000 in Spain. It was in that feature film that Mewtwo originated the Pokémon cloned with Venusaurtwo, Blastoisetwo and Charizardtwo as protagonists; which served as a counterpart to the Venusaur of Corey, the Blastoise of Neesha and the Charizard of Ask Ketchump.

Once achieved its goal, we could see other cloned Pokémon from Pikachu, Meowth, Pidgeot, Scyther, Hitmonlee, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Sandslash, Gyarados, Nidoqueen, Vileplume, Wigglytuff, Rapidash, Seadra, Tentacruel, Vaporeon, Rhyhorn, Golduck, Golduck Dewgong, Vulpix and Psyduck.
Of all of them, the only ones that had a specific characterization with black marks on the body were Venusaurtwo, Blastoisetwo and Charizardtwo.
