Even if you have been reset, you will keep the unlocks that you have received during all this time; If you are a Cold War player, you will start with the level of military rank that you achieved during the preseason.
The most outstanding novelty is the arrival of the Island of Rebirth, the new playable map that will coexist with Verdansk. This reinterpretation of Alcatraz Prison fits into the background of the game, as its walls contain a Nova-6 gas factory, a prominent element among the veterans of the saga. For the moment you can find it in an exclusive game list, different from the classic battle royale experience. Squads will continue to revive after death as long as one of the members remains alive. If you have played CoD: Mobile, you will be used to it.

CoD: Black Ops Cold War is not spared from relevant settings. We must emphasize first of all the inclusion of the Battle Pass, which will coexist with elements that can also be enjoyed in Warzone. Two new weapons are coming to two titles: the MAC-10 submachine gun and the Groza assault rifle, unlocked at no additional cost at level 15 and 31 of the pass, respectively.
In total, 8 multiplayer maps will be added to the competitive offer, 3 of them for 6v6 (The Pines, Raid and Nuketown ’84 Holiday), 4 for the unreleased shooting mode (Game Show, ICBM, U-Bahn and KGB) and another for Combined Arms: Sanatorium, although this will not arrive until the seasonal reinforcements. Another casualty streak has been added, called H.A.R.P., an evolution of the UAV that allows you to see in real time the position and vision of the enemy on the minimap.
Operators have increased their staff with 3 new additions, two of them as part of the mid-season reinforcements. From now on you can play as Stitch, the protagonist of Season 1. You will unlock him as soon as you acquire the battle pass. The new progression system will make you have 1000 new levels at your disposal each season. Every 50 levels you will receive a Prestige Key, icons, Battle Pass levels and more. Of course, up to 250: from there only get keys.
And if we go into the weaponry adjustments, the tactical rifles say goodbye to their hegemony. Both the M16 and AUG have had their effective range, cadence, and more reduced.
