It’s time: Season 2 of Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War begins. From February 25 we will find a multitude of news that will accompany individual deliveries over the next 54 days. With the update now available, we tell you everything you need to know to enjoy the new content.

New weapons
As usual, we will receive 2 new and free weapons as part of the Season 2 Battle Pass. The FARA 83 Assault Rifle is a kind of reinterpretation of the signature Galil, which you will unlock when you reach level 15 of the pass. On the other hand, the LC10 submachine gun offers one of the greatest controls in its family of weapons. We will have to wait a bit to unlock it: level 31.

Call of Duty: Warzone | New Points of Interest, Zombies and Event
The main changes received in the Battle Royale are located around the presence of the Vodianoy, the freighter that was heading to Verdansk in recent weeks. You will see that it has collided with the map between the port and the prison. His arrival has opened a wave of dangers from the hand of the Zombies. The ship is perfectly accessible from the start of the game.
Inside you will find several hordes of Zombies swarming through the wreckage. We know that there is a computer that can trigger an event related to them, which asks us to kill 40 undead. So far we do not know what rewards it will bring and its outcome. This goes hand in hand, naturally, with the new Outbreak Event. Until March 11, you can complete challenges in both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. You will see everything in the main menu.
“Due to contamination,” as Raven Software says in the patch notes, several scenarios have been closed. The metro network will not remain available in the coming weeks. Neither will the stadium garage and six Bunkers; 00, 04, 05, 06, 09 and 11. The closure has allowed the opening of three missile silos distributed by different locations. You will see a new subway at Military Base, Novi Grazna Hills and Tavorsk Park.
As for the newly released Operators, at launch we will see Naga as part of the initial Battle Pass unlocks. Karla Rivas, Terrel Wolf and Samantha Maxis will arrive throughout the Season, although they already appear from the selection menu.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War | Competitive Map, Outbreak and more
Perhaps the highlight of this Season 2 is Outbreak mode, a new Zombies experience that brings classic combat to a map of greater freedom. The Ural Mountains will feature three launch regions: Ruka, Alpine and Golova, the latter being a launch exclusive for this mode. We know that new locations will be added later. Ah! And in Dead Ops Arcade 3 you will see the first person mode from the private game menu.
An Outbreak game consists of a main investigation, the mission of which can vary depending on what it spawns at the start. Defend a point, escort a robot, take certain objects to various locations, and so on. When completing it, we will have two options: flee or enter a Dark Aether portal, which will lead us to “new risks”, as Treyarch assures us. We can’t forget that two vehicles will be added to the available roster: a sedan and a light truck.
As for the competitive, the debut of Apocalypse, the map that will take us to the heart of the jungle, will coexist with the sensitive changes that several of the launch found have received. The team wanted to adjust some elements seen, for example, in Poster. The hedges, the subject of controversy among the community, will now be smaller and will reveal what is behind them. The rest of the maps affected by the changes are Crossroads Strike, Moscow, Satellite, and Raid.
Added at launch one of the favorite modes of Black Ops veterans: Gun Game. You will go through a set of 20 weapons in which you will progress after taking a kill with each of them. As we said in the full patch notes, the lethal machine is added, a kill streak similar to the war machine, this time changing the grenade launcher for a portable 200-round gatling.
